ABOUT US
Brief History
On July 1, 1978 the CCMP was born, in a meeting of Christian Filipinos at Circle Park, Huntington Beach, California. The idea was conceived as early as 10 years before that, but did not materialize until that meeting. Meetings to incorporate followed and on February 17, 1980, the group formally elected the first set of officers. On October 20, 1980, the State of California approved the Mission as a non-profit religious corporation. Subsequently on December 23, 1980, the Internal Revenue Service granted tax-exempt status to the CCMP.
Organization and Operations
The CCMP members elect a Board of Directors, from whom executive officers are chosen: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Auditor. Leaders of functional, standing committees are appointed annually who take care of the many activities involving the membership. There are activities for both the youth and the adults in the membership and their friends. During the covid pandemic, the CCMP pivoted to virtual fellowships. This gave everyone the opportunity to support each other whether participants came from the US or abroad, particularly from the Philippines itself.
The Mission generates its funds through (1) the monthly pledges of individual members as well as churches who have partnered with us and included the CCMP in their mission budgets, among them the Carson Christian Church and Landmark Christian Church (2) special offerings by members, (3) special contributions during meetings or special events, (4) other individual givings. Funds are sent to a CCMP Treasurer based in Manila who disburses them to the recipients. A mission administrator links with everyone in the Philippines. An Advisory Committee composed of Christian leaders in the Philippines provides local understanding and advice to the stateside leadership on all aspects of the ministry. The recipients are required to submit regular reports to the Mission in the United States.
· Direct Support to Ministers
CCMP is currently working with 22 preachers/ministers in the Philippines by sending supplemental financial support. We try to be as geographically dispersed as possible.
· Scholarships
CCMP has a budget to support four scholars to Bible Seminaries in the Philippines. So far, at least 4 scholars have graduated and are now in the ministry.
· Church Planting Team Support
In late 2000, we started the church-planting program by partnering with a team of 3 in the Bicol Region to whom we provide full-time support. There were three other teams that have joined the program, located in Bulacan-Pampanga and Quezon Province. We are actively supporting three teams at present (SLIM, SOCAVA and Botolan).

Jesus Walk Youth Conference
The JesusWalk Youth Conference is designed to open the eyes of our youth to the potential they have in Christ. Our vision is that every student breaks from their worldly chains to become who God has designed them to be—each in their own way a disciple furthering His Kingdom.
Our mission at the JesusWalk Youth Conference is to provide an open and safe forum for youth to experience God and His Word. At JesusWalk we accomplish this through a four-day dynamic program that includes moving worship, engaging messages, community service, and extensive mentoring by small group interaction. 1 John 2:6 says, Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. We give our students a clear picture of how to move beyond the conference—influenced and driven by the Gospel to continually live in His example.
What drives JesusWalk is the people who help make it happen. We’ve built this conference with our own youth & young adults to work together as one body and strive for one goal: transform the lives of our students. With the guidance of the CCMP, JesusWalk continues to grow and find new ways of reaching out.
